This is a 10 session fixed term post within the Glasgow Liaison Psychiatry Service.
Commencement of this post is by discussion with clinical lead and will expire on 31st July 2022. The post is based at Queen Elizabeth University Hospital and Royal Alexandra Hospital . The post holder will be part of a team of Liaison Psychiatry Consultants, Nursing Staff and Psychologists, who provide Liaison Psychiatry services across Greater Glasgow and Clyde. There is dedicated secretarial support for the post. Core trainees from the North-East Glasgow training scheme rotate through Liaison Psychiatry at GRI. There are FY1 and FY2 Posts shared with Acute Medicine. The post holder will receive regular supervision.
All applicants must possess full GMC Registration, a licence to practice and at least 4 Years full time Post Graduate Training, two of which must have been in relevant acute specialties or you will demonstrate and evidence equivalent experience and competencies.
For Specialty Doctor posts, there is an expectation that candidates have completed Day 1 and Day 2 of Section 22 Training prior to taking up the post or as soon as practical thereafter. Possession of a Driving Licence is desirable.
