Applications are invited for a Band 6 research nurse within Dermatology. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse with dermatology experience The department at WACH currently has several clinical trials ongoing in eczema, psoriasis, skin cancer, hidradenitis suppurativa and other inflammatory dermatoses. The department comprises both General Dermatology and Skin Cancer Screening Clinics, as well as a variety of specialist Dermatology clinics including the Severe Psoriasis clinic, Eczema Research Clinic, Skin Cancer in Immunosuppressed Patients clinic, Mohs Surgery assessment clinic. In addition to this there are also several nurse-led chronic disease management and Isotretinion clinics. You will be responsible for the recruitment, care and treatment of patients involved in clinical trials. You will need to work with a high degree of independence, interpreting protocols and caring for this patient group. You will work closely with other research nurses, clinicians and the multidisciplinary team. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC with current and relevant clinical experience.
