We require a part-time afternoon Appointment Coordinator to provide a comprehensive administrative service appointing patients within national & local targets while following the Scottish Government Waiting Times Standard, New Ways and the Patient Access policy

Relevant Outpatient Health records experience is required as is the ability to prioritise and deal with the day to day workload in a busy, physically & mentally challenging environment.    Flexible working hours and a good understanding of waiting times and appointment systems is required. You will be required to work both independently and as part of a team.

Hours will be worked to meet the needs of the service with core hours being 1100-1600 Mon-Thurs, Fri 1200-1600.

Candidates should be educated to Standard Grade (or equivalent). You must also have good keyboard/typing skills with the ability to work on your own initiative.  You must have a knowledge of the Patient pathway, 18 week RTT and New Ways.Good organisational & listening skills are essential as well as a flexible approach to working.  

Please note the payscale for this post is pro rata for part time hours.
