NHS Lanarkshire promotes a relationship based model of continuity of care as recommended by Best Start. Successful candidates will be expected to work in all areas of Maternity and to join Best Start teams as required.
You will assist the Senior Charge Midwife to deliver high quality evidence based woman and baby centred care. You will be involved in providing both individualised patient care and in planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the maternity service, ensuring compliance with NHS Lanarkshire’s policy and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC. To provide safe, effective centred person care.
You will be a Registered Midwife with valid NMC Registration, in addition you will be educated to / working towards / operating at Degree level. Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
