The Knowledge Management Team is seeking to appoint an experienced information professional who will support Healthcare Improvement Scotland with identifying, creating and sharing information and knowledge.
Ideally, you will have previous experience of supporting the production of evidence-based resources for a range of audiences through the delivery of systematic literature searching, critical appraisal, summarising information and reference management. Supporting the development of a knowledge-sharing culture plays a key part in the role too and some experience in this area would be desirable. A commitment to CPD development and the ability to work in a project-based environment, to self-direct and independently manage your workload is essential.
This role requires a postgraduate masters qualification in a CILIP accredited information and library studies course, preferably supported by a degree in the life, social or medical-related sciences. You will also have competent IT skills (using MS Office, searching bibliographic databases and reference management software) together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborative working.
