Part Time; 1 PA (4 hours per week) 

Fixed Term for 3 years in the first instance 


NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland. 

 
The Training Programme Director in Histopathology will be responsible for managing specialty training programmes for doctors holding the following appointments: specialty registrar (StR); and locum appointments for training (LATs). 
 
The TPD should be a Consultant and is accountable to the Postgraduate Dean or appropriate Associate Dean. He or she may also combine the role with that of an educational and/or clinical supervisor.
