Practice Educator – Pharmacy (NES Post-registration Foundation Programme for newly qualified pharmacists) 

Full Time; 37.5 hours per week (applications for less than full time will be considered)

What you'll do

This is an exciting opportunity to join our innovative team within NES Pharmacy on a temporary basis up to March 2022. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with an interest in educational initiatives to expand their career experience. 

This role will involve working within the NES Post-registration Foundation Programme for newly qualified pharmacists to support the Senior Educators and the Principal Lead in the development and implementation of the cross – sector programme. You will have working knowledge of the training framework, good interpersonal skills, be able to prioritise your workload to meet the demands of the various stakeholders and be able to work using your initiative when required. You will be highly motivated with a desire to support the further implementation of this  workstream. You will work closely with members of the NES Pharmacy team, community pharmacists, hospital and primary care pharmacists as well as educational leads and senior stakeholders. 


What you'll bring

You will be a qualified Pharmacist with a Masters’ degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.  You will ideally have completed the foundation training programme. You should be member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain 

Please note that travel across Scotland is a business as usual requirement of this role and may require overnight stays (currently on hold due to covid-19 response).  We will offer remote interviews (via Microsoft Teams).
