NHS Golden Jubilee is a Special Health Board that has traditionally supported NHS Scotland to deliver Heart and Lung services, both locally and nationally, and to provide high volume elective surgery. As with all Health Boards, NHS Golden Jubilee adapted the care that was supported during the Surge phase of COVID-19. Now that it is Recovery that we are all concentrating on, the hospital has been asked to work differently.
As a Green (COVID light) hospital site, the Golden Jubilee Hospital will support NHS Scotland to deliver a wide range of cancer surgery and other life sustaining surgery, whilst also resuming our elective surgery programmes. To support this the hospital has accelerated its expansion plans and there are a number of exciting opportunities for Nurses/ODPs to second to our team.
