The board is seeking to employ a multi skilled shift maintenance technician (Mechanical bias) to join a team of maintenance technicians who undertake routine maintenance, fault finding, repair and minor new works on services, plant and equipment. This is a rotating shift position three days on (06.00 – 18.00), three days off, three nights on (18.00 – 06.00), three days off.
The successful candidate will have served a recognised apprenticeship and hold relevant City and Guilds or equivalent qualification. Candidates must be able to demonstrate maintenance experience within a healthcare or a similar commercial environment. You will be required to carry out planned maintenance, repairs and minor installations to mechanical and plumbing systems and it would be advantageous to demonstrate core electrical knowledge.
In addition to their core trade duties applicants must be willing to work on a wide range of Building Services Systems and undertake training, if required, on other trade disciplines
As you will be working within a close knit team good interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
