Band 6– QI Improvement Nurse – Fluid Management (37.5hrs FT or PT) Temporary (11 months)

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse to further develop existing skills and knowledge in Fluid Management.  We would like to hear from you if you have post-registration experience in clinical nursing practice in medical, surgical and / or critical care settings. You will also be required to have an understanding of the principles of fluid management and renal physiology. Audit and data collection, training and teaching experience is required for this post as well as previous experience and evidence of quality improvement projects. The post holder will need to have the ability to work independently and as a team player across the multi-disciplinary team and have a professional demeanour with excellent interpersonal and communication skills,  including computer skills and be able to analyse data.  

 

The successful post holder will join the existing team to roll out and embed this Scottish Government initiative of a standardised National Intravenous Fluid Management Guideline.  The successful candidate will work across NHS Grampian sites to support and embed this change. They will also be required to attend national meetings; therefore will be required to travel.

Full and part time hours will be considered. Agreement with current manager to be released for secondment must be sought prior to application, as per NHSG Secondment Policy.
