An exciting opportunity has arisen for a receptionist to join the Beatson Clinical Research Facility (BCRF) which specialises in a wide range of cancer clinical trials.

The BCRF is an NHS facility which supports cancer clinical research across NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde.  The post holder will provide comprehensive reception/administrative support within the BCRF.  You will act as a focal point for the provision of help and advice to patients, relatives and staff members in relation to service enquiries and will be responsible for ensuring patient information is updated timeously on the TrakCare system. 

We are looking for a candidate with a caring disposition who has the ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary team.  You must have experience working within an NHS background and be proficient in the use of health records processes/practices.  Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment are essential.      You will be required to provide essential support during periods of leave to include audio typing and waiting list entry.
