Lead Research Nurse

Edinburgh Clinical Research Facility (CRF) is recruiting a Lead Research Nurse.

We would like an experienced, enthusiastic and innovative Research Nurse to join our team. They should have extensive research and clinical experience, familiarity with people and resource management and an ability to work at a senior level in a complex setting. Knowledge of regulatory inspections and the MHRA Phase 1 Accreditation scheme will be expected.

They will lead a team on a portfolio of research studies with their focus, on appointment, to be overseeing a portfolio of covid research and vaccine studies.

They will be based mainly in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh CRF though will provide senior cover, as required, at the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility (WTCRF) at the WGH, and the Children’s Clinical Research Facility (CCRF) at RHCYP.

Edinburgh CRF supports research in a broad range of clinical specialities providing a service to local Investigators, of any discipline, to conduct their clinical research safely, efficiently, and effectively.
