Band 6 Salary Scale: £32,118 rising to £39,560 per annum (pro rata)
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and engaging individual to work at The Corner in Dundee.
The Corner works with 11-19 year olds (and up to 26th birthday if vulnerable) to improve the Health and Wellbeing outcomes of young people in Dundee in drop in and outreach services. The Corner offers services on a wide range of health and wellbeing issues in particular sexual and emotional health.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Counsellor to join the multi professional team based within The Corner.
You will have a key role in providing high quality Counselling services within a supported environment. This will involve offering Counselling services and advice to a range of young people accessing services at The Corner.
Counselling experience and an interest in working with young people is essential. You should demonstrate a willingness to learn.
You will also have the opportunity to work as part of the multi-disciplinary staff team of Nurses, Health Care Assistant, Health Promotion, Health Outreach, Admin/Receptionist and Digital Content Officer.
