An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Project Lead to join the Hospital Expansion Programme Team. NHS Golden Jubilee Surgical Centre is the second phase of the expansion which forms part of one of the Elective Treatment Centre’s that are being established across Scotland. The new facility will support an increase in capacity for orthopaedic, general surgery and diagnostic endoscopy procedures.
The role of the Clinical Project Lead is to provide clinical and professional leadership across key areas of the expansion project. This post requires a good understanding of operational health and care delivery. The post holder will lead the engagement process with nursing, clinical and wider teams to support the delivery of the new build and ensuring a planned transition of the facility over to the operational management teams.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse / AHP / Healthcare scientist educated to first degree standard or above with demonstrated progressive post qualification experience. Ability to influence and negotiate change with clinical colleagues and excellent planning, organisational and team working skills are essential.
