The Scottish Health Technologies Group (SHTG) is a national health technology assessment (HTA) agency set up to provide evidence support and advice to NHS Scotland surrounding the use of new and existing health and care technologies that are likely to have significant implications for people’s care in Scotland.  We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to provide project support to our HTA programme.  This role will contribute to developing a new ‘Early HTA advice’ service.

The post holder will be required to help ensure the successful delivery of SHTG projects, working closely with internal colleagues and external stakeholders so that key outcomes are achieved within specified deadlines.  The role also offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of HTA across Scotland, so an ability to work in an evolving environment is important. 

The post holder will have experience of project management from inception to completion.  In addition, the post holder will need to be a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills; have experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams; as well as exposure to formal committee work.
