An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Project Managers to work on the expansion of elective care at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital.
NHS Golden Jubilee incorporates the Golden Jubilee National Hospital, Research Institute, Conference Hotel and Innovation Centre. As Scotland’s flagship health facility, the Golden Jubilee National Hospital specialises in cardiothoracic, orthopaedic and ophthalmic surgery as well as interventional and diagnostic cardiology. It is also the Scottish centre for heart transplantation and for patients with congenital cardiac and pulmonary vascular issues. A major diagnostic imaging centre, the hospital also has one of the largest concentrations of intensive care beds in the UK. NHS Golden Jubilee is responsible for planning the elective care requirements of the West Region population between now and 2025
The Project Managers will work within the Programme Team providing strategic and operational management in project procurement, management and the construction and implementation phases of the Elective Care Hospital Expansion Programme.
The post holders will be responsible for the management of individual packages of work within the Expansion programme and wider estate.
The Project Managers will work with the Senior Project Manager to provide the interface with the development partner (PSCP) for project delivery and will act as a focal point of contact with the Programme Team for the day-to-day management of the interests of the Board.
