We are seeking a highly motivated nurse to be part of the Discharge Lounge Service within the Discharge Team in the Acute Services Division.

The nurse will manage and lead the Discharge Lounge with initial base at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.   

First Level Registered General Adult Nurse with at least 5 years post registration experience with 2 years at Band 6 or equivalent. Educated to degree level, or equivalent. Proven managerial and clinical skills. Leadership skills.

Effective communication and time management skills are essential. Excellent working knowledge of discharge planning and patient flow in acute services essential. Car driver essential.

This post requires PVG membership/Disclosure Scotland check.

The shift pattern is variable.
