Edinburgh or Glasgow - remote working will apply for the foreseeable future.

Healthcare Improvement Scotland has set out an ambitious and exciting Internal Improvement work plan focused on our ways of working; digital transformation and our staff capacity and capability. This is an exciting time to join the Internal Improvement Team and support us in achieving our future vision.

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and positive administrator to join our Internal Improvement Team. This post will be fulfilling a key role providing dedicated support to the Internal Improvement Oversight Board (IIOB) and our Digital Transformation Programme with a range of administrative responsibilities.

The post holder will be responsible for organising and supporting meetings and events (virtual) gathering and collating information, minute-taking, formatting documents, and processing invoices. You will also provide support co-ordinating cross organisational activities, and key stakeholder liaison with colleagues across the Organisation.

Applicants would ideally hold an HNC level qualification or have demonstrable equivalent experience in administration. Possessing sound communication skills, a high level of professionalism with good attention to detail, you will already have gained sufficient experience in a similar role and adopt a flexible approach to resolve issues proactively. Strong interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, with proficiency in Microsoft (MS) Outlook, and MS Office with advanced Word skills. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we are currently working remotely utilising MS Teams, so any additional skills in this area would be advantageous.
