We are looking for registered nurses with experience of Emergency Department or Community Hospital services who are looking to develop their careers in a new nurse practitioner Band 6 role.
This is an exciting opportunity to help develop the Emergency Department and urgent care model on Arran. This new role is within the single nursing team on the Isle of Arran providing person centred care at the highest level and is primarily based at Arran War Memorial Community Hospital.
The development of integrated ways of working between all health and social care teams features highly on the island, including the aspiration of a flexible single nursing team working across community, community hospital and general practice settings. This will allow for interesting and varied work including support to the inpatient service at the community hospital and the community nursing team on the island.
There will be ongoing opportunities for team based learning on the island and with support from the Ayrshire based clinical team.
Hours: Various available – Flexibility may be required to meet the needs of the 7 day service.
