Are you interested in working within the operating theatre and supporting the registered nurses to provide the best quality care for our patients? If so, this is an exciting opportunity for you.

The theatre department at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital has 15 theatres and 1 endoscopy room and is currently expanding. 

Due to promotion and development of existing staff we now have opportunities to join our Theatre Assistant Team. This is an essential role in the effective running of the Peri-operative Department.  As a Theatre Assistant you will support the Registered Practitioners in many aspects of direct and indirect clinical care to ensure our patients are given the best care possible.  You must be able to commit to an out of hours on call rota for overnight and weekends and also to working across 6 days per week. 

You must demonstrate that you have a keen interest in working in this area and demonstrate you understand what this means. You must be willing and able to learn, either already possessing SVQ in Healthcare or be willing to study towards.  You must also be physically fit and have excellent communication skills.
