We are seeking an experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist with a strong interest in working with individuals who are currently homeless or in the asylum process presenting with complex functional difficulties. Individuals may have mental health problems, addictions issues, learning disability and/or physical health issues. You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment and evaluation of a variety of Occupational Therapy interventions and the use of outcome measures. You will participate in multi agency working, clinical and business meetings and team/service duties as delegated. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and for the supervision of junior qualified and non qualified staff.

You will contribute to and lead on aspects of service development. You will have supervision and line management from a Team Leader. It is essential you have excellent communication and organisational skills.  It is essential that you have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and that you are registered with the HCPC.  A current Driving Licence is required for this post.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm.
