A fantastic opportunity exists for a GP to join our friendly long-standing team for up to 6 sessions. We have exciting visions for our practice which is experiencing high growth being in the heart of the new town development of Shawfair. Our list of 4.500 patients has increased by 50% in the last 3 years and we are on target to grow to 7,500 patients within the next 5 years. Expansion means we will be relocating to new state of the art premises, with the opportunity to be involved in the development project should you so wish. We are situated in the residential village of Danderhall in Midlothian, surrounded by eight miles of cycle paths, woodlands and the green spaces of Midlothian’s countryside. Edinburgh City Centre is 5 miles away and very accessible in 15 minutes from Shawfair train station close by. Most of our patients live within 5 minutes walking, driving or cycling distance and we have on average no more than 3 house visits per week. We operate a partial triage system, use Vision and Docman Workflow Management • Diverse MDT including Physio, Pharmacist, Primary Care Mental Health Nurse and Wellbeing practitioners • High QOF and Enhanced Services historically.
