Senior Nurse / Allied Health Professional, Health Care Staffing
Temporary until September 2022 – part-time 18.75 hours – Band 8a
We are looking for an individual who is skilled, experienced and educated to Masters level or equivalent to undertake the role of Senior Nurse / Allied Health Professional, Health Care Staffing, for Nursing and Midwifery Workforce Planning which will support the implementation of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Legislation.
The post holder will have lead responsibility for the further development of the organisation's strategic approach to nursing & midwifery workforce planning.
This is a collaborative post and you will work closely with the Health Improvement Scotland Healthcare Staffing Programme and with the Excellence in Care Leads within NHS Boards.
You will support and facilitate nursing and midwifery teams to review workforce information to inform service redesign, development of nursing and midwifery roles, role expansion in order that services are responsive to the needs of patients.
You will lead the implementation of the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act.
