An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced registered nurse to join and lead the nursing team within Ward 31 Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy. Ward 31 is a 23 bedded Orthopaedic Trauma Ward which is dedicated for patients who have sustained a Fracture Neck of Femur.
Ward 31 is a very busy ward with a predominately high number of frail elderly patients, some of which suffer from delirium or dementia. Many of these patients have acute medical issues.
You must be able to demonstrate an ability and passion to deliver high standards of safe, effective and person centred care, which focuses on enhancing the patient’s experience and you must be able to work efficiently and effective within a multidisciplinary team.
You are required to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and lead a nursing team with passion. You will be accountable for delivering on service provision, redesign and improvement to provide safe, effective, person centred care.
You should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be proactive and be able to demonstrate an ability to implement and manage change through effective leadership and evidence the ability to manage and develop the performance of a team.
