The NHS Fife Resuscitation Service primarily provides a comprehensive resuscitation training programme for clinical and non clinical staff across NHS Fife.
We are looking for an outgoing and organised administrator to join the NHS Fife Resuscitation Department based at Victoria Hospital. You will work two days a week to provide comprehensive clerical and secretarial support to the Resuscitation Officers in their daily work.  This will primarily be organising the resuscitation department training diary and making course bookings and collating related course paperwork, maintenance of databases, preparation of reports, organisation and recording of minutes of meetings. 
You should be educated to Standard Grade level; possess a secretarial qualification, SVQ3 or equivalent.  Candidates should possess excellent keyboard skills; a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have experience of working with databases.  Knowledge of NHS systems would be advantageous but training will be given.
Previous secretarial experience is required, along with a sound working knowledge of office procedures. You should have the ability to work as a member of a team and also on your own initiative with minimal supervision.   Knowledge of medical terminology, confidentiality and safe handling of information would be advantageous.
The work pattern is daytime Thursday & Friday, although occasional flexibility will be required to suit the needs of the service. Salary will be pro rata for part time hours.
