Practice Nurse
Hours of Employment: 26 hours per week
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience.

Due to retirement Cowdenbeath Medical Practice has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Practice Nurse to join our team. Cowdenbeath Medical Practice is a busy training practice with a
patient population of over 11,000 patients. Our clinical team consists of 9 GP Partners, 1 Advanced
Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 2 Treatment Room Nurses and 2 Phlebotomists who are
supported by an excellent team of Reception and Administrative staff.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated and have the ability to work autonomously.
A good working knowledge of Cervical Screening, Chronic Disease Management, immunisations and
anticoagulant monitoring. Experience within a General Practice setting is desirable however,
training and support will be available for the most suitable candidate.
Working hours are 26 per week worked over Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am-5pm and
Friday 8:30am-12:30pm.
