NHS Dumfries & Galloway is looking to recruit a qualified Nurse Endoscopist to join the colorectal nurse specialist team based at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary. You will act as a clinical expert and professional resource to the multi-professional team, patients and carers within this specialist service. Working flexibly, you will have your own lists, performing upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and administer conscious sedation with agreed protocols to patients requiring endoscopy.
You will be an NMC registered Nurse with a specialist qualification in GI nursing/endoscopy practice, non-medical prescribing, ALS and cannulation skills. You will also have demonstrable experience of working at a senior level. Flexible working and part time hours would be considered.
