You will provide the day-to-day management of waiting lists/times ensuring compliance with target for various modalities within Diagnostics across GG&C.  Advisory and troubleshooting role in relation to waiting lists/times issues arising within this specialist service.  You will ensure the following: Achievement of national and local targets, Identify capacity needed to deliver activity, improve efficiency, develop and implement best practice, provide regular/ongoing adhoc reports to the management team with information relating to the waiting lists as and when required, specialist knowledge of the organisation's information requirements and current targets and standards.  You should have highly developed IT and information/waiting list analysis skills with an in­ depth knowledge and experience of the application of NHS data definitions, policies and standards. At the request of management, format information or data to enable preparation of standard verbal, written or statistical reports or returns. You will contribute to working groups/meetings providing information input and use of information to support the operation and strategic objectives of specialist services. You will facilitate a wide range of ad-hoc reports which may need to be obtained from others, i.e. activity/performance reports, cancellations, DNA rates etc.  You will monitor weekly lists of unreported/unverified examinations, contacting reporters to ensure completion within target.
