Full / part time posts have arisen within the team working in Pre-operative assessment and Department of Scheduled Admissions for experienced Healthcare Support Workers to join a nurse led team as part of the Anaesthetic service.
Pre-operative assessment is a busy area that covers multiple surgical specialties ensuring patients are fit or optimised in preparation for elective surgical intervention. The Department of Scheduled Admissions (DoSA) is a new unit which admits elective patients on the day of procedure. The team is looking for diligent individuals who can work well under pressure due to the high volume of work in line with government waiting times directives and ongoing service development.
We are looking for someone who has experience within a busy Acute sector environment. The successful candidate must have SVQ level 3 or relevant experience and be willing to undergo in house training. A working knowledge of IT systems used in the Acute sector would be advantageous.
The individual must be hard working; innovative and able to work autonomously within own limitations, excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential.
