The Enhanced Drug Treatment Service (EDTS) is an exciting Service within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde and the first of its kind in Scotland. Located in Glasgow City Centre, this Service aims to engage and improve outcomes for a population of complex needs drug users who have not benefited from other treatments. The Service is delivered by a multi-disciplinary specialist team in a bespoke clinical environment.

This role is both exciting and challenging. We are looking for a professional who is highly motivated, confident and organised to play an instrumental role in managing the EDTS dispensary and continuing to develop the pharmaceutical care role within the EDTS Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for the right person to develop their existing specialist skills with the full support of the wider management structure, gaining the necessary experience to achieve success as a key member of this specialist clinical service.

You will need excellent interpersonal skills, to exert, influence and develop constructive working relationships with a wide range of clinical and non-clinical staff and patients. The post demands a high degree of communication with senior healthcare staff and a range of key stakeholders.

It is essential that you are currently registered with the GPhC, hold a Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and have a minimum of four years post registration experience in a relevant clinical pharmacy role.

Although this post is for a full time position we would not exclude individuals who may be looking for a part time post.

Any previous experience of this type of service delivery would be viewed as desirable but not essential.

The shift patten is 7 day flexible
