Job title: Senior Chaplain
Location: Base is Royal Cornhill Hospital, Aberdeen, but working across other hospital sites.
Hours: 37.5 Hours per Week
Band: Band 7 (£40,872 - £47, 846)
This is a senior Chaplaincy post, offering progression for those who have already significant experience working as a Healthcare Chaplain.
Although based in the Mental Health Sector, as a Senior Chaplain you will work across sectors. You will line manage Chaplains in both the Mental Health and other sectors in the delivery of appropriate spiritual, religious and pastoral care. This will be to all patients, visitors, staff and volunteers, regardless of faith or life stance. You will also act as a link to various community faith and belief groups, supporting and facilitating the care of their members while they are in a healthcare setting.
As a Senior Chaplain you will also assist, along with the other Senior Chaplain and the Lead Chaplain, in the line management of the NHS Grampian Chaplaincy Team.
