Job Description
We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our growing team. As one of our Senior Information Analysts, you will:
• Analyse and interpret complex data
• Use a wide range of data sources and powerful analytics tools to provide insight that supports better decision making
• Present complex data effectively through data visualisation techniques
• Communicate insights in a customer focussed environment
• Help core customers access and analyse our many data sets
• Support academia to deliver state of the art research projects
• Coach, develop and line manage staff
• Compile and present important statistics to a wide audience, including NHS Scotland, NHS Boards, Scottish Government, other partner organisations, and the general public

Please note during times of public health emergency, or other urgent business need you may be required on a temporary basis to work your normal contracted working hours over 7 days including weekends, in order to meet the needs of the service
Our Teams
Within PHS we will bring together specialists to translate information into evidence for action to protect and improve the health of the people of Scotland.
One of our roles is to develop patient level activity data into information and intelligence to support the delivery and planning of health and social care services.
Intelligence is gathered from a broad range of sources to provide national level advice and leadership to protect the people of Scotland from infectious disease and environmental threats.
