Applications are invited for the post of Subspecialty Trainee in Gynaecological Oncology Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post is based at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary.
Applicants must hold the MRCOG or equivalent and be at ST6 level or higher (CCT/CESR or on UK Specialist Register O+G) at the time of taking up the appointment.
This is a three year post leading to subspecialty accreditation in Gynaecological Oncology.
Applicants with research may complete the programme in two years.
There are excellent on-site library facilities and opportunities for research both within the Department and with other groups in the Hospital and the University of Aberdeen. The Department provides both NHS and University academic services and the post will involve appropriate participation in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching.
