Who We Are

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is the national health board with statutory responsibilities to effect sustainable change through workforce development, education and training across the health and social care system in Scotland, while working at UK level with partner organisations.

Key Tasks

These will include but will not be limited to:

  • Promote the use of Microsoft 365 applications to deliver educational programmes
  • Provide training and shadowing opportunities to business support staff to build confidence to
    • support webinars
    • edit videos and add subtitles
    • build SharePoint sites
    • implement the NES TEL Evaluation tools.
  • Support educators to comply with accessibility standards.
  • Maintain the content on the TEL Intranet page and Guidance for Educators site.
  • Provide real time support for webinars using Teams and GoTo products.

What you’ll bring

  • You will be confident to use Microsoft Teams and GoTo to deliver training and have experience supporting webinars and online training sessions
  • Significant experience using the range of Microsoft 365 applications
  • You need good communication skills to work with people with a range of digital skills
  • Awareness of knowledge sharing techniques to support education
  • Experience of Video editing
  • Experience of Agile methodology to deliver objectives is desirable
  • Good organisational skills
