We are in the position to recruit an enthusiastic registered RMN/ RGN nurse to join our nursing team within Midpark Hospital. This post will initially be based with Glencairn Ward, an older adult acute admission ward, with 15 beds. As a Band 5 Registered Nurse, you will be expected to work as part of a multi disciplinary team to provide safe effective, patient centred care. The post holder will possess excellent assessment, communication and interpersonal skills with a good understanding of mental health assessment and risk assessment as well as knowledge of mental health legislation. The post holder will help drive local and national practice developments and demonstrate a commitment to providing a positive experience for those persons who require Inpatient care.
Consideration will be given to applicants who may require less hours or have flexible working requirements.
Candidates must hold current NMC registration

Unfortunately NHS Dumfries & Galloway, at the present moment, cannot support OSCE Training for international nurses. However this is being reviewed in the near future.
