You will be responsible for managing your own community caseload and the management and supervision of the caseloads of junior nursing staff within your identified sub-team. You will also provide a specialist addiction service to a defined geographical area for individuals who are experiencing addiction problems and also has a key role in promoting and developing the role of the Community Addictions Nurse. This is an important role in supporting practice education for under and postgraduate students. You will play a key part in delivering and assist in managing specialist integrated addiction services within the Glasgow addiction partnership across a defined community geographical location. It is essential you are a Registered Mental Health Nurse with relevant experience of working in addictions as well as significant community experience at Band 5 level. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday.
