Ward 63 is part of a regional service that is provided to the west of Scotland. The department provides a 7 day acute Neurosurgical  service to patients with a variety of Acute neurosurgical conditions. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 2 to work with the team within Acute Neurosurgery at the Institute of Neurological Sciences, QEUH. We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Health Care Support Worker to join our team within ward 63 .This 22 bedded wards provides acute neurosurgical care as part of the Neuroscience Service to the West of Scotland.  You will work 12-hour shifts with weekend working involved to cover the 24/7 service. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).You will demonstrate flexibility, and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential.   This may involve weekend working.
