Please note:  This is a part time post for 10 hours - Saturday and Sunday 7am to 12 noon

Salary for this position will be pro-rata.



JOB PURPOSE

To carry out manual tasks associated with Linen activities within NHS Lanarkshire and associated areas


KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

Required to undertake on the job training & induction e.g. infection control impact to service; completion of audits and inspections; RFID technology (this will generally take a 4-6 weeks to achieve full competency across a range of duties)
Working knowledge of Health & Safety including participation in risk assessing individual tasks
Understanding of topping up levels and systems
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of Information Technology
Ability to carry out assigned tasks effectively in a busy environment
Undertake mandatory HCSW standards
Undertake NHS Lanarkshire compulsory training
