Full Time (37.5 hours/week)
£33,072 - £40,736 (Band 6)
Remote working will apply for the foreseeable future.
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and positive individual to join Healthcare Improvement Scotland's Community Engagement directorate.
We are looking for an Information Officer who will be responsible for maintaining and developing a wide range of national information resources and systems which support the work of the directorate, and providing training and support to staff.
Possessing detailed knowledge of information governance legislation, especially data protection and freedom of information, you will provide expert advice to colleagues and senior managers and ensure compliance with information governance and records management requirements.
You will also work closely with the Communications team to manage the directorate's website and social media channels on a day-to-day basis, so that engaging and consistent messaging is considered and delivered.
Applicants should have exemplary written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of knowledge of MS Office and web-editing software. You will be able to plan and prioritise your own work proactively and effectively, and to work under pressure. The ability to build relationships and motivate people within working groups is a key part of the role.
