An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Children and Families Senior Nurse post in West Dunbartonshire HSCP.
This post provides strategic leadership and operational team management for Health Visiting and School Nurse teams across . Working in a team of service managers for integrated children’s services, the post holder will ensure that the service operates within a defined budget, whilst ensuring safe, effective and person centered practice through robust clinical governance and risk management. You will ensure the provision of a high quality /effective service which meet the needs of the local population, and will be involved in the planning and development of Health Visiting and School Nursing services across the HSCP while working with colleagues from other agencies and services in supporting integrated children’s services. You will be welcomed into a supportive and motivated service, with the opportunity to innovate and develop practice and services. You must be educated to Masters Degree level with a qualification as a Registered Nurse with an additional qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing, and have current valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council. The shift pattern for this post is 9 am – 4:45pm Monday – Thursday 9am – 4:30 Fridays.
