An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic assistant to join the team within the West of Scotland Regional Heart & Lung Cardiology team as part of the Interventional Cardiology service.
The scheduling Assistant will work closely with the ACS Scheduler in co-ordinating the transfer of patients from Base hospitals, liaising with the Scottish Ambulance Service and local bed managers to support patient flow.
The post holder will take responsibility for administrative tasks involved in managing the urgent transfer of patients from referring hospitals, aiding patient turnaround and repatriation back to base hospitals.
This vacancy demands excellent teamwork with well-developed communication, I.T and interpersonal skills. Your personal qualities should include a positive approach and the ability to work effectively within the busy team.
The successful candidates will have variable working hours across the full week.
