This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and innovative pharmacist to develop and support the delivery of pharmacy services within the East Dunbartonshire HSCP. You will be responsible for co-leading on prescribing matters and managing the HSCP prescribing support team.  A key aspect of the post will be supporting implementation of the Pharmacotherapy Service as part of the GMS contract and supporting implementation of Achieving Excellence in Pharmaceutical Care strategy. As a key member of the HSCP you will provide professional leadership, expert advice and risk management in the safe and secure handling of medicines to a wide range of professionals including GPs, non-medical prescribers, senior management and finance.  The post requires excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, organisational and IT skills along with the ability to influence and affect change.  This is an opportunity to progress your career in Primary Care working with the senior management team within the HSCP.  You will be a qualified pharmacist with substantial post qualification registration and a postgraduate clinical qualification. Royal Pharmaceutical Society membership is desirable.  Experience of working in Primary Care and providing prescribing advice or prescribing support is essential.   The shift pattern for this post is 2 days per week. This is a Fixed Term post for 18 months.
