Deputy Aseptic Accountable Pharmacist band 8a New Victoria Hospital Pharmacy
NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyds Pharmacy & Prescribing Support Unit Preparative Services are seeking an experienced aseptic pharmacist for the post of Deputy Accountable Aseptic/Dispensary Pharmacist for the New Victoria Hospital .The Pharmacy department is housed in the new state-of-the-art ambulatory care New Victoria Hospital and provides aseptic and other pharmacy dispensary services to a number of speciality clinics and Rehabilitation Directorate wards.
You will join a larger Preparative Services Cancer team covering both the New Victoria Hospital and the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre .The post will interest pharmacists who want to practice Preparative Services at an Advanced Pharmacist level but also want to retain /develop in their clinical pharmacy experience and skills. It is essential that you have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and have substantial post registration experience with significant practice within an Aseptic Preparation Unit.
You will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council. The post requires weekend working as part of the 5/7 working, Public Holiday cover and On-call
