An exciting number of opportunities have opened up within our Orthopaedic Theatre Nursing Team. Our Orthopaedic services are on a sensational journey to implement the opening up of 10 new Orthopaedic theatres.
In advance of opening these new theatres we are looking to provide a platform to lead and develop motivated nursing/ODP practitioners who are able to demonstrate their commitment to enhancing their own skills through CPD and on the job learning. You will be fully supported and provided with a mentor to support your learning in preparation for the opening of the new unit. The post holder will support new staff in Orthopaedic theatres, take forward improvement work in prepartation for phase 2 expansion.
On completion of phase 2 expansion the post holder will transfer into the more traditional Team Leader role.
The successful post holder should demonstrate a commitment to safe, effective patient-centred care, through auditing and service improvement. A commitment to; quality, evidence-based care is essential, whilst fostering a ‘can-do’ attitude within your team. The post holder should demonstrate excellent communication skills.
To support elective and urgent surgery the Golden Jubilee is managed as a Covid light centre.
