We have a vacancy for a Band 6 Therapy Radiographer within the Lanarkshire Beatson Radiotherapy Facility; the post is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The Radiotherapy facility in Lanarkshire is a Satellite unit for The Beatson Cancer Centre in Glasgow and is located within the grounds of Monklands Hospital in Airdrie, North Lanarkshire. The facility has two True Beam linear accelerators and one Phillips CT with Advantage Windows Virtual Simulation system. You will supervise junior radiographers on a linear accelerator.  You should ensure a highly specialised clinical service is provided to patients and you will also be required to manage the Treatment unit when the B7 is unavailable. You will also carry out all routine imaging (inc CBCT) and will act as a team leader in absence of the B7. You will be responsible for your own development and life-long learning. It is essential you have a DCR(T) or BSc in Therapy Radiography (or equivalent) with current State Registration with HCPC as a Therapy Radiographer. You should also have substantial clinical experience.
