The Paediatric service areas, which includes the Paediatric Assessment Unit (PAU), HDU and General Paediatric Ward (Ward 29) in Ninewells Children’s Hospital are seeking to appoint a number of Health Care Support Workers on fixed term contracts to support the activity within these areas during the coming months.
We would like to hear from you if you have experience working with children and young people in health or social care, community settings. It would be advantageous if you possess a relevant SVQ or HNC child care qualification. You must be committed to working in a fast pace, person-centred environment and willing to be adaptable in your working pattern.
The post(s) will be based within Ninewell’s Children’s Hospital and you will be expected to work primarily within the PAU and paediatric wards as required to meet demand. You may also be required to work in other areas of paediatric care including CIU, HDU and community or home services.

Hours of work are negotiable up to 37.5 hours. Shifts may vary. These contracts will be fixed term for at least 6 months in the first instance.
