An opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of three Health Improvement Senior posts, one for each locality of Glasgow HSCP (North East; North West and South). The posts are initially for a 17 month period of time. These posts offer an exciting opportunity to work within health improvement and primary care around the mental health agenda. You will have lead responsibility for the development and delivery of this work stream providing strategic and operational leadership to ensure delivery. In addition the post holder is required to act in an advisory capacity to provide specialist health improvement support to colleagues and partners, providing work stream management and may also provide staff management, depending on local circumstances. You will be responsible for establishing and sustaining links internally within GCC NHS Board and key external partners/clients/communities to promote health improvement and address inequalities in health. The main focus of this post is the responsibility for delivering on a work programme which supports the development of a mental wellbeing model with GP clusters across the locality All team members may also be required to deliver and support programmes of work across the wider Health Improvement team.
