You will beresponsible for assisting in the provision of a highly skilled, efficient, high quality diagnostic and interventional cardiac service to patients attending the Hospital. The purpose of this role is to allow assessment and diagnosis of cardiac disorders in cardiac and non-cardiac sourced patients in both secondary and primary health care. You will be responsible for providing clinical input and reports, in a timely manner in order to support best possible clinical practise and care. The main tests carried out by you will be the Electrocardiographs, Ambulatory ECG monitors (fitting and scanning), ambulatory BP monitoring, Assisting inTilt table tests and Exercise Tolerance Tests.  This post supports the Head of Departments aims to ensure that there are clear and effective structures and processes designed for co-ordinated decision making that enables safe and effective clinical care.  The shift pattern for this post is Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or 8.00am -4.00pm. It is essential that you have underpinning knowledge of general anatomy and physiology and specialist knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physics, chemistry, biology and pharmacology and that you have Technical knowledge and relevant experience in performing ECGs.
