A number of exciting opportunities and developments have arisen in NHS Greater Glasgow and ’s Corporate Planning Function. The core planning team provides support across the Board’s Acute Division, delivering planning expertise to a varied number of projects, workstreams and clinical services. Our focus is to deliver the Board’s Corporate Planning Objectives, to support service improvement, and to deliver planning expertise to assist the operational teams to redesign and develop modern and sustainable health services. Establishing and building strong relationships with Health and Social Care partners is key to delivering NHSGG’s Moving Forward Together programme, which is our vision for developing and progressing transformational change across health and social care.
This vacancy is for Planning Officers
You will provide support to the Heads of Planning and Planning Managers, contributing to the delivery of Board Strategy by providing operational planning and change management input to teams and workstreams. Analytical skills and attention to detail are essential as his post will include the requirement to undertake a significant amount of complex information gathering, analysis and performance monitoring which will inform change and service development. The ability to build and sustain alliances will be a key component required to achieve the development and delivery of organisational priorities. You should be educated to Degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline with evidence of significant CPD and professional competence and expertise.
