An exciting 24 month fixed term opportunity is available for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join CAMHS Occupational Therapy Team, working in the Renfrewshire CMAHS Team – a Tier 3 CAMHS service for CYP up to age 18years with severe to moderate mental health disorder..  You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team engaging in both team mental health assessment as well as Occupational Therapy assessment, intervention, individual and groupwork. The post will include a workplan with case coordination, OT assessment and intervention of CYP with emerging eating disorders, those where mental health impact on participation in everyday life and activities and developing a groupwork programme with the OT Team. You will be a team player with previous experience working in either children and young people service or mental health within an Occupational Therapy service.
You are required to be HCPC registered and experience within Mental Health or Paediatrics is desirable.   You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills.  We are looking for someone who is highly motivated and enjoys being part of an enthusiastic team.  You must be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills when working with children, young people and their carers.  
Training and support for your professional development will be provided and we are committed to regular supervision to support good practice.
